Tender Writing & Submissions: Essence has prepared tenders for the Aged Care Funding Round every year since inception. We have also successfully prepared tenders for the Aged Care Innovative Pool, Disability and Mental health Sectors as well as Palliative Care Grants.

Essence has developed quality programs for ISO9001, AGPAL, Disability Standards and the Aged Care Accreditation Program. We have prepared desk audits, systems for quality improvement and taken organisations every step of the way from system development to successful accreditation.

Essence works with clients to develop policies and procedures that reflect their organisation, its mission, culture and business parameters. Facility Concept Development Facility Design & Architectural Briefing & Project Management: From developing a brief, reviewing building plans and supporting clients through the process of working with architects and builders Essence brings years of experience, national and international, practical operational knowledge and cutting edge thinking to assist clients to a successful outcome. Our projects range from reviewing one set of plans and providing advice, through every step of building and facility design and construction. We have been project leader on development of aged care facilities up to $20m of construction, project managed a $7m disability service construction and relocation, commissioned high and low care facilities and been involved in countless renovations, rebuilds and refurbishments.

Education & Training: Essence are experience trainers and facilitators. We have designed and conducted courses on numerous subjects from workforce planning to team leader training and the ageing process and dementia care. Our broad health and management expertise allows us to design courses which meet client’s needs; the personal approach has been very successful in achieving client outcomes.
